Enfield Social Services Grant Application

The Town of Enfield has proudly supported qualified non-profits with small grants for specialized programs, efforts that meet emerging needs in the community and/or requests to support general operating or administrative expense.  Fiscal Year 2021-22 (FY22) grant awards are expected to range between $1,000 and $15,000, depending upon the allocation of funds in the Town budget.


Local organizations with 501c-3 status, or that have a 501c-3 fiduciary agent, and have a successful history of serving Enfield residents are eligible to apply for funding consideration for the period of July 1, 2021 - June 30, 2022 (FY22).

Funding Priorities:

Funding priorities for FY22 include, but are not limited to, services that:

  • meet critical basic human needs, such as food and shelter;
  • are targeted to low-income and working poor residents to promote economic self-sufficiency or family stability; and/or
  • address health, mental health or other needs of vulnerable, disadvantaged or special populations.

Applications that are outside the identified funding priorities may be considered at the discretion of the Town Council.

Application Deadline:

Completed applications are due by 4:00 PM on Monday, February 26, 2021. No late applications will be considered.

Application Process:

The Town has established an electronic application system which can be accessed on the Town of Enfield Social Services webpage.  Once completed, the application will be automatically submitted for review and you will receive an email confirmation.

All applications will be reviewed by March 31, 2021. Funding recommendations will be forwarded to the Town Council for consideration during the Town’s budget deliberation process. It is anticipated that applicants recommended for funding will be asked to make a brief presentation in a pre-determined format before the Town Council.

Formal notification of any grant awards will be made in writing following passage of the Town budget.
